Leg Day Workout

Having a fitness blog means I should probably post a couple workout ideas for you guys. The first workout I want to share is a leg workout and this specific one helps you focus on gaining lean muscle while burning fat. Long story short this is a great leg workout for getting that summer body back.

Every movement in this work out has 4 sets of 10-12 reps which means you do the movement 10-12 times 4 times.

back squat 4×10-12

leg press machine 4×25-30

walking lunges 4×10-12

Straight leg deadlift 4×10-12

leg extension machine 4×10-12

ending the workout with 30 mins of cardio of your choosing.

The cool thing about this workout and having the high rep count (10-12) along with a pretty high set count of four allows you to get a fairly high heart rate. Getting a higher heart rate in a workout allows your blood-flow to get oxygen and nutrients to your muscles along with just making your heart healthier.Give this workout a try next time you have a leg day.
