GREEN DETOX SMOOTHIE

After all of the sugar that I had during spring break, I feel that a detox if very necessary. One of my favorite ways to clean out my system is by drinking fruit smoothies. I feel refreshed, and full after having them. They are also a wonderful snack or breakfast substitute!

Ingredients

Produce
  • 1 Banana, ripe frozen
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 1/2 English cucumber
  • 1 1/2 cups Kale
  • 1 Lemon, peel removed, small
  • 1 cup Pineapple, frozen
Refrigerated
  • 1 cup Almond milk, unsweetened
Baking & Spices
  • 1/2 tsp Spirulina
Nuts & Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
Frozen
  • 1 handful Ice
Liquids
  • 1 cup Water, filtered
