The Packers are coming off of a good win in the previous week against the struggling Giants and they play another struggling team this week in the Redskins. The Redskins are 3-9 on the year and currently they are starting a rookie quarterback who has been struggling. The Packers are currently sitting at a 9-3 record atop of the NFC North and they are looking to keep it that way. A win this week would give them a 10-3 record and would put some pressure on the Vikings who are in second place. The Packers are a 13-point favorite in this game due to the fact that we are at home and that the Redskins have been struggling. The Packers injury report is pretty blank for this game, the Packers have been really blessed this year on the injury side of football. The only person on the injury report for the Packers is cornerback Kevin King and he is listed as questionable. The Redskins have a few injuries that could be impactful, but it is not likely. My prediction for this game is that the Packers will blow them out at home by a score of 38-10. This will be my last blog, thanks for reading! Go Pack Go!

Week 13 Summary- Packers vs. Giants
The Packers were looking to bounce back after a tough loss against the 49ers a week ago and they did just that. After a pretty handily defeat at the hands of the 49ers, the Packers came back this last week and handed the Giants a loss. The Packers started the game on defense and made a quick stop and got the ball for the first time in the game. Aaron Rodgers started the game out at a fast pace and the Packers drove down the field and scored quite quickly, giving the Packers the early 7-0 lead over the Giants. The Giants did answer back pretty quickly with a touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Daniel Jones making the score 7-7. Aaron Rodgers answered back immediately with a touchdown pass to young wide receiver Allen Lazard, making the score 14-7 Green Bay. At the start of the second quarter Packers cornerback Kevin King intercepted a pass from Daniel Jones on 3rd and 10, giving the Packers great field position heading into the next drive. The Packers took advantage and kicker Mason Crosby made a 47-yard field goal to make the score 17-7 Green Bay. After that, the Giants made a long drive down the field that ended in a field goal as well making the score 17-10 Green Bay. After that, nothing else happened in the 1st half sending us into halftime with the Packers receiving the second half kick off.
The Packers started with the ball in the second half and didn’t make anything of it and ended up punting the ball back to the Giants. The Giants had one big play on the drive that put them in field goal range and they made it, making the score 17-13 Packers on top. The Packers had a long sustained drive following the field goal from the Giants and Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to star receiver Davante Adams for his second touchdown reception of the game making the score 24-13 Packers. Following this Packers touchdown the Packers got another takeaway courtesy of rookie safety Darnell Savage setting Aaron Rodgers with good field position. The Packers took advantage very quickly on the next drive with a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to veteran tight end Mercedes Lewis making the score 31-13 Packers. The score would stay the same for the rest of the game and the Packers would improve to 9-3 on the season and in the lead in the NFC North. Come back Saturday for a game preview for week 14. Week 13 Preview- Packers vs. Giants
The Packers are coming off a tough loss in week 12 against the current 1-seed in the NFC in the 49ers but they look to bounce back against a Giants team that has a rookie quarterback and has had a rough year. The Packers sit at 8-3, while the Giants sit at 2-9. Even though the Packers are traveling to New York for this game, they are still heavily favored to be the victors. The Giants have been struggling with injuries the whole year and it won’t stop this week as tight end Evan Engram and wide receiver Golden Tate will not be participating in this one, which will make it hard for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones to find targets for the passing game. The Giants will likely rely heavily on star running back Saquon Barkley, who has had a bit of an off year compared to last season. Even though the Packers are on the road for this game they are still favored to win by a 6.5 point margin. A let down this week could be disastrous for the Packers season as a whole. The Packers injury report looks promising as many of the players listed as questionable are scheduled to play in this game. Let’s hope for a better week this week! See you Wednesday for the summary! Week 12 Summary- Packers vs 49ers
The Packers and the 49ers teams both came into this game with the best records in the NFC and looked to take control of the 1-seed in the NFC and receive a 1st round bye in the playoffs. This was the Packers chance to prove that they were an elite team in the NFL this year and gain control of the NFC. But the game didn’t go as the Packers had first hoped, actually the complete opposite of what they wanted to happen. The Packers received the opening kickoff and it didn’t start how they expected and quarterback Aaron Rodgers ended up fumbling the ball and the 49ers picked it up at the Packers 5-yard line, giving them great starting field position and they would get the ball at the start of the second half. On their first play of offense they ran the ball in and scored, making the score 7-0 49ers very early. The Packers really struggled to get any offense going whatsoever and their following drive they went 3 and out and punted the ball to the 49ers, once again giving them good field position. The Packers however, did get a defensive stop on the 49ers following drive. The 49ers would get the ball back from the Packers and drive down the field and end the drive with a field goal, making the score 10-0 49ers. Up until about 5 minutes left in the 1st half it was mostly defense but the 49ers amped up their offense with a field goal making the score 13-0 and following that immediately a fast touchdown drive making the score 20-0. They then got another fast defensive stop and drove to kick another field goal, making the halftime score 23-0 49ers, with them receiving the second half kickoff.
The Packers hopes of a second half comeback were slim to none with the 49ers opening a huge lead. After a defensive stop, the Packers finally got on the board with a touchdown reception from Packers receiver Davante Adams. The Packers then went for 2 in an attempt to make the score closer, which was successful making the score 23-8 49ers. The Niners however quickly answered back with a long touchdown pass to tight end George Kittle, making the score 30-8 Niners. The Packers failed to score the remainder of the game and the 49ers scored again making the score 37-8 and that is what the final would end up. The Packers drop to a record of 8-3 and the 49ers improve to 10-1 with a commanding lead in the NFC. This loss drops the Packers down to a tie with the Vikings for the lead in the NFC North, making the rest of the games this season very important. Come back tomorrow for a preview on the Packers game against the Giants this week.
Week 12 Preview- Packers vs 49ers
The Packers are coming into arguably their most important game of the year against a 49ers team that has had a fantastic year and arguably the most surprising start to the year for any team. The Packers come into this game with an 8-2 record coming off of a bye week. The 49ers come into this game with a record of 9-1 with both teams past their bye week looking to be the 1 seed in the NFC. This game takes place in San Francisco which is a huge advantage for the 49ers not having to play in Green Bay. The winner of this game will have the lead in the NFC and have the tie breaker for the 1st seed in the NFC if the two happen to have the same record after the final game of the season. The betting line for this game leaves the 49ers as 3 point favorites to beat the Packers in San Francisco but I believe that the Packers have a very good chance at pulling off the upset, because the 49ers haven’t played very many good teams this year. I would say to look for the Packers to pull off the upset with a healthy roster following the bye week. My prediction for the final score this week is 27-24 Packers winning a close one in San Francisco giving the Packers the edge in winning the 1-seed in the NFC. See you Wednesday for a game recap! Bye Week Injury Report
The Packers are on a bye this week, so we don’t have any pre-game analysis or post game summaries but for this blog I will update you on the Packers injured list and their participation at practice the previous week. First on the report is Packers receiver Davante Adams who is dealing with a lingering toe injury, he has been a limited participant at all of this weeks practices but is expected to play in the Packers next game. The next Packer on the report is safety Adrian Amos who is listed as having a hamstring injury who didn’t participate in two practices this week and was a limited participant in the other and has a status of questionable for the upcoming game. Veteran Packer’s offensive tackle was also on the report for veterans rest in which he was a limited participant all week and will play in the upcoming game. Back-up tight end Robert Tonyan is listed as doubtful on the injury report as he is dealing with a hip injury which has kept him from full participation all week at practice. Cornerback Jaire Alexander is also listed as questionable with a groin injury but is expected to play in the upcoming week. There are no other injuries worth reporting as the Packers have a week off from live game contact. Come back for another blog on Wednesday. Go Pack Go!
Week 10 Summary- Packers vs. Panthers
It was an instant classic at Lambeau Field, while the snow continued to fall harder throughout the game. The Packers came into this game with a 7-2 record looking to improve to 8-2 and maintain a large lead in the NFC North. The Packers started the game with a defensive stop and forced a punt. The Packers quickly game the ball back to the Panthers and they made quick work and drove down the field and scored on a touchdown pass, making the score 7-0 Panthers. The Packers answered back quickly with a touchdown run by Aaron Jones evening the score at 7-7. The following drive the Panthers drove and got into field goal range and kicked a 50-yard field goal giving the Panthers the 10-7 lead. The Packers then punted the ball on the next drive giving the Panthers the ball back while they had the lead. The following drive the Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen fumbled the ball and the Packers got the ball back at the 50-yard line. The Packers quickly took advantage and scored on the following drive on another touchdown run by Packers running back Aaron Jones making the score 14-10 Packers. That is how the first half ended with no scoring happening after that touchdown. The Packers headed into halftime with a 14-10 lead with the second half kickoff going to them.
The Packers received the second half kickoff and made the most of it on a long sustained drive in which Aaron Jones ended it with his 3rd touchdown of the game. making the score 21-10 Packers. The Panthers sustained a long drive down the field until quarterback Kyle Allen threw an interception in the end-zone and the Packers took over the ball with the 21-10 lead. The Packers had a pretty good drive until they stalled out but ended it with a field goal from Mason Crosby making the score 24-10 Green Bay with the snow starting to fall harder every minute. The Panthers answered back next drive with a touchdown run by Christian McCaffrey making the score 24-16 as the Panthers tried to complete a 2 point conversion but they failed. There was no more scoring for the rest of the game as the Packers defense made multiple very important defensive stops that ultimately didn’t give the Panthers a chance to tie the game up and they won the game with a score of 24-16. The Packers improve their record to 8-2 heading into the bye week. Even though there is a bye week this week there will still be a post this Saturday, see you then. Go Pack Go!
Week 10 Preview-Packers vs. Panthers
The Packers look to bounce back after a disappointing loss in their week 9 match-up vs. the Chargers as they were 3.5 point favorites and ended up losing 26-11. The Packers will be hungry for a win after a shocking loss like that. They currently sit at a record of 7-2 looking to improve to 8-2 as they are 5.5 point favorites to win against the Panthers at Lambeau Field. The key to a Packers victory will be trying to slow down the Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey who is leading the NFL this year in many categories. If we can manage to control him somewhat and slow him down it should be a relatively easy win for the Packers at home against the Panthers. The Packers aren’t dealing with a lot of injuries right now which is good but that is not the same case for the Panthers who just put their franchise quarterback Cam Newton on injured reserve. Backup quarterback Kyle Allen has been starting for him for a chunk of the year due to injury problems with Cam Newton. The Packers are currently in first place in the NFC North and have a controlling lead and are looking to keep it that way. The Panthers are currently in second place in the NFC South which makes this a key game for them if they want a shot at winning their division and make the playoffs. See you on Wednesday for the recap. Go Pack Go!
Week 9 Summary- Packers vs. Chargers
Let’s just say the Packers struggled week 9 against the Chargers where they were expected to win easily. The Packers were 3.5 point favorites but it turned out to not be correct whatsoever and the final score ended up being 26-11 Chargers. The Packers offense really struggled to move the ball in this game and the defense had one of their worst performances of the year, overall, a forgettable game for the Packers. The Chargers started off holding the ball for the first 8 minutes of the first quarter and ended up with a field goal making the score 3-0 Chargers. The following Packers drive is where the offense began their tough day with a three and out ending with a sack on quarterback Aaron Rodgers by Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa. Once again the Chargers drove down the field but settled for a field goal once again making the score 6-0 Chargers. The Packers once again didn’t move the ball at all and the drive ended in another sack for the Chargers defense which resulted in the Packers punting the ball back to the Chargers with the lead 6-0. The Chargers once again drove down the field and it ended in another field goal making the score 9-0 Chargers heading into halftime with the Packers receiving the second half kick off. The Chargers were really struggling to score in the red-zone which was giving the Packers the chance to stay in the game.
The Packers failed to score again after receiving the second half kick off and once again punted the ball to the Chargers. The Chargers drove down the field once again but they failed to score a touchdown again and kicked a field goal making the score 12-0 Chargers. The Packers once again didn’t move the ball and opted to punt, which was blocked by the Chargers return team giving them very good field position. In which they capitalized on quickly on a touchdown run from running back Melvin Gordon. making the score 19-0 Chargers. The Packers then finally moved the ball at least a little bit, but the drive ended in a 54-yard field goal from kicker Mason Crosby making the score 19-3 Chargers. The Chargers crushed the hopes of a comeback when they drove down the field and scored on another touchdown run for Melvin Gordon, giving him 2 on the day and making the score 26-3 Chargers. The Packers finally scored a touchdown with 6 minutes left in the game making the score 26-11 Chargers, but it was a little too late in the game for the Packers to have a chance to come back. Overall, a very disappointing game for the Packers dropping their record to 7-2 and improving the Chargers record to 4-5. Hopefully the Packers have a better game next week when the take on the Carolina Panthers. See you Saturday for pregame analysis!
Week 9 Preview- Packers vs. Chargers
The Packers will travel to Los Angeles to match up against a struggling Chargers team that has a 3-5 record. The Packers are coming off of a great win on Sunday night football against the Chiefs in Kansas City improving their record to 7-1. The Packers have good news coming into this week, star receiver Davante Adams was upgraded to questionable on the injury report which means there is a chance he will play for the first time in 5 weeks since suffering a foot injury. The Packers have fared well without him but it would still be great to have him back. The Packers have a chance to improve their record to 8-1 following this week and are a 3.5 point favorite at the Chargers home stadium. I believe that the Packers will win by more than 3.5 and my prediction for the final scores is 38-21 with Aaron Rodgers having another big game and solidifying his case as an MVP candidate. Between both teams there are not a lot of injuries but the most important one is definitely Davante Adams, he would be a very crucial and important addition to the Packers roster for the week. See you for the game recap on Wednesday and as always, Go Pack Go!
