Week 13 Preview- Packers vs. Giants

The Packers are coming off a tough loss in week 12 against the current 1-seed in the NFC in the 49ers but they look to bounce back against a Giants team that has a rookie quarterback and has had a rough year. The Packers sit at 8-3, while the Giants sit at 2-9. Even though the Packers are traveling to New York for this game, they are still heavily favored to be the victors. The Giants have been struggling with injuries the whole year and it won’t stop this week as tight end Evan Engram and wide receiver Golden Tate will not be participating in this one, which will make it hard for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones to find targets for the passing game. The Giants will likely rely heavily on star running back Saquon Barkley, who has had a bit of an off year compared to last season. Even though the Packers are on the road for this game they are still favored to win by a 6.5 point margin. A let down this week could be disastrous for the Packers season as a whole. The Packers injury report looks promising as many of the players listed as questionable are scheduled to play in this game. Let’s hope for a better week this week! See you Wednesday for the summary! Week 12 Preview- Packers vs 49ers

Quarterbacks for both the Packers and 49ers

The Packers are coming into arguably their most important game of the year against a 49ers team that has had a fantastic year and arguably the most surprising start to the year for any team. The Packers come into this game with an 8-2 record coming off of a bye week. The 49ers come into this game with a record of 9-1 with both teams past their bye week looking to be the 1 seed in the NFC. This game takes place in San Francisco which is a huge advantage for the 49ers not having to play in Green Bay. The winner of this game will have the lead in the NFC and have the tie breaker for the 1st seed in the NFC if the two happen to have the same record after the final game of the season. The betting line for this game leaves the 49ers as 3 point favorites to beat the Packers in San Francisco but I believe that the Packers have a very good chance at pulling off the upset, because the 49ers haven’t played very many good teams this year. I would say to look for the Packers to pull off the upset with a healthy roster following the bye week. My prediction for the final score this week is 27-24 Packers winning a close one in San Francisco giving the Packers the edge in winning the 1-seed in the NFC. See you Wednesday for a game recap!
