The MLS postseason is a game away and the race for the remaining spots are HEATING up. Each conference has 3 spots left and the race is too tight to call.

In the east, 6 teams are still alive. There are many different scenarios that could potentially play out. This is how I see it in the east:

Atlanta United I think are the safest out of the remaining 6. They have the most points and their final game is against the worst team in the league, FC Cincinnati.

Orlando and Montreal are both fighting for spots with only one point separating them. The best part is that these two teams play each other on decision day. Who ever wins this will qualify for playoffs. I am going with Orlando.

New York Redbulls find themselves a point behind Atlanta and Orlando. They play second place Nashville. Nashville already qualified but they are fighting for that second place spot so they will not take RBNY lightly. I think Redbulls will be the final team from the east to qualify.

The same situation as the east, the west also has 3 spots remaining. This race is a bit tighter than the east, having 5 teams separated by 3 points each.

Minnesota United play LA Galaxy, both teams are still trying to qualify for playoffs. Minnesota has to only play for a tie so I think they will get business taken care of in LA.

LAFC play third place Colorado. Both teams have plenty to play for. I think LAFC being the more desperate team will be the ones who come out on top. They will need their stars to show up and out if they wanna beat a Colorado team who can still take first in the West.

The final team from the west I think will be Vancouver. Although I do not think they will win their final game, I think they will still have enough points and if they do not get blown out by Sporting KC who is also fighting for first in the west. I think the goal differential will keep Vancouver’s MLS Cup hopes alive.

Every single MLS team is in action on Sunday, November 7th. It is the final day of the regular season. 12 teams have been eliminated and only 14 are left. MLS will be a sight to see this weekend, so keep an eye out for some scintillating games.
