WishMaker’s On Campus

I’ve been lucky enough to experience a leadership role by helping in the creation of a student organization on campus that benefits the Make A Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

Wishmakers on Campus demonstrates and supports the mission of the Make A Wish Foundation which is, “Granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with strength, hope, and joy”.

The organization was started on UW-Whitewater’s campus in 2019 and through my involvement with fundraising and helping plan events, I was offered a leadership position on the e-board! The organization has taught me how to better my communication with people of all different backgrounds and has heightened my skill in planning events and involving others in community and state outreach.
