The TEAM Trans* group met last Wednesday (29 June) – here are the highlights:
- The group discussed possibilities for the signage outside of the gender-neutral bathrooms, as well as informational posters inside all restrooms about the locations of such restrooms [yes, potty politics!].
- Bringing up difficult dialogues around trans* as a series of discussions with faculty was also tossed around with regards to content, but not the specific logistical aspects.
- The group also talked about strategies for actively recruiting LGBT students to our campus.
