The LGBT Task Force met for the final time this year on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Here is what what discussed as well as highlights of upcoming events:
- Gender Inclusive Bathroom signs designating all gender use facilities to be in place around campus by the end of the semester
- Committee will soon be taking nominations for the Rainbow Celebration of Excellence awards, so keep watch for more applications and fill them out for anyone you would like to see honored for their contributions to the LGBT* community
- Speaker: Jessica Kota, expert on two spirit identities – Thursday, February 19, 2015 in UC 275A from 3:30-4:30pm. Jessica Kota is an individual and family therapist who will speak about The Two-Spirited: Living in Multiple Worlds.
