Divisional Meeting Survey Results

Thank you for taking the follow up survey from the Divisional Meeting. Twenty-eight completed the survey, and you overwhelmingly liked the interactive activities. We also received excellent feedback from you. Rather than transpose the results, here is the raw survey report.

In the coming days, I’ll post written answers to the panel questions. There were also a few other questions that weren’t answered at the Divisional Meeting that I’ll include. You are encouraged to use the comments section of this blog to ask additional questions – or just questions in general – and we’ll post the answers here. If you prefer anonymous, let me (Ben) know and I’ll set up a link.

Divisional Meeting Action Item

As you all know, in October we went live with the new release of HPSM. It was much more than technology change, many processes associated with providing support and services to our customers changed as well. Now that we have been using the new system for a few weeks, you may have additional questions about the way it functions, or about the processes that have changed.

We want to have an opportunity to respond to your questions. To that end, we are planning a brief  question/answer session during the upcoming Fall Divisional Meeting  (December 1 at 2:00 p.m.). It’s not every day that our entire team gets together in the same room, so we want to use this as a learning opportunity for all of us.

We ask that you submit your questions in advance, so we have time to research answers if needed.  Please use this link to submit questions  related to the use of HPSM and associated processes by end of day November 29th.

Divisional Meeting Feedback

First off, thank you for your participation in the Divisional Meeting.

You may have noticed that many of the “Clicker” questions focused – more or less – on communication. Elena and I discussed your feedback, and more importantly, how to resolve the disconnect that is sometimes taking place. In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out channels intended to not only help keep everyone better informed of what is going on within this organization, but also an avenue for you to provide feedback and ask questions about what is happening within the organization.

How will that look? One likely scenario will be expanding the content on this blog by offering more posts about what we are all working on, and details about what goes into decision making processes. Big picture, the intent is to create a two-way avenue of communication that goes beyond this blog. Again, it is all still in the works, but as one presenter reminded us during the Divisional Meeting “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Think of this blog post as the first step.

P.S. – Here is a link to the ICIT Strategic Plan if you are interested in a high level view of where we will be headed in the coming years.
