The Edge

So by now if you haven’t heard the mash-up of Weezer and Kanye, take a moment and click the YouTube link and come back in a half hour. Ohio State University Sophomore Alex Hodowanec, otherwise known as, Chuck Nugget, created the mashup which is now hard to find as several websites such as bandcamp.com and audiomac.com have taken it down.  The album is a full length and brings your favorite Kanye and Weezer together. “American Island,” “Buddy Holly’s Workout Plan” and “(And They Say) It Ain’t So” are great tracks to take a listen to.  Chuck Nugget is a 19-year-old technology student and has been working on the album for a couple of years and has just recently finished it. The mash-ups track list can also be found below (in case there is some strange chance you don’t want to listen to the entire thing).  Take a listen and see the accidental masterpiece that is the talk of social media.  The one question we have is, will Kanye see this as a masterpiece as well with Weezer… or will he try to steal the thunder from them as well?
