Favorite Sport: To Play? Volleyball Watch? Football

Favorite Sports team: Badgers

Favorite Band: Anything Country

Favorite Dining Hall: Graham Street

Dream job: Working with Students

What I see myself doing in five years: Hopefully being a Student Affairs Professional and continuing to help students grow.

Favorite Quote: “There is no passion to be found playing small- in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” -Nelson Mandela

Why did you become an RA?: I became a Resident Assistant because I knew I wanted to become a leader on campus and fulfill my undergraduate career. Now looking back I can honestly say it was the best decision I made throughout my four years at Whitewater. Although there are tough times in this position the people I have been able to meet and work with have allowed me to become a better person.

What is your favorite thing about being an RA?: The connections I have been able to make across campus, the lifelong friends I have made, and the growth I have been able to experience as both a leader and a person.

What else are you involved in?: AODA Peer Educator, Community Development Intern, Waitress at Texas Roadhouse, and Front Desk Attendant at Wellers & Knilans

Piece of advice for other RA’s: Enjoy it while it lasts! Being an RA on campus will allow you to learn so much and work with some of the best people. Never get too overwhelmed because you have a large network of leaders to lean on when you need it.

Best story so far: I always tell people the best thing about the job is the people you get to meet. Come this June I will have stood up in two weddings where the bride is a person I met while working in Housing on campus. I have truly made lifelong friends, worked under some fantastic mentors, and learned from some of the best people on campus.
