Location: Sauk Prairie, WI

Recently in the town of Sauk Prairie the decommissioned train track was turned into a bike trail. This recent transformation has led to opening up areas of the town that weren’t easily visible. Allowing structures that haven’t been seen for many years to be seen.

This specific “structure” being shown in this picture appears to have been used to hold steel bars, as you can see, some of those bars are still contained within. However, both the bars and the “structure” itself are deeply rusted along with branches laid atop showing that these have left here for quite some time.

While unfortunately I personally do not know how long this has been left in it’s probable final resting place, it gives the idea that even materials used to build and the “structures” that hold those materials can also fall victim to mother nature if left forgotten for long enough.
