It has a been a journey for every team, but this is the final week of the season. There are only two teams left.
The eastern conference champion New York City FC will be making their first MLS Cup final appearance since joining the league in 2015. They have the golden boot winner who they will be counting on. He missed the last game due to a red card but his team still managed to get through to the final with a goal from 19 year old Brazilian forward Talles Magno.
Portland who is a 4x MLS Cup champion are hosting and will be looking to add to their clubs success. Felipe Mora and the Chara brothers will be the key players for Portland. Mora has 12 goals and 4 assists including a goal in the western conference finals.
Saturday, December 11, at 2pm the game will kick off. If I had to cheer for a team I am going with NYCFC because they have never won before, I like their team better, but most importantly they beat Atlanta United.
