Make A Wish Wisconsin

I completed an internship with the Make A Wish Foundation of Wisconsin during the summer of my sophomore year. it was a really great experience and I loved every minute of it.

During the internship I was completing a lot of volunteer hours by helping coordinate details for events, reaching out to sponsors, securing donations, and working with volunteers from the public. I attended and helped with their events with some of their biggest sponsors and saw the execution of everything from start to finish. The experience working with Make A Wish really allowed me to focus on something bigger than myself. I loved interacting with all of the Wish Kids at the events and hearing their stories from their own point of view.

After my internship I carried on my volunteer work for the foundation on my college campus and have really enjoyed it! The foundation’s mission is something I find really important and fulfilling for anyone who’s involved.
