Born This Way

While the United States continues to fight for equality for the LGBT* community, with progress being made in some states but still a long ways to go in other states, many of the LGBT* community in other countries are facing dire consequences for being true to themselves. In Born This Way, the film documents gay men and lesbians as they fight for their lives, along with the help of a civil rights lawyer, in the country of Cameroon, where homosexuality is punishable by several years in prison.
