Welcome to the Division of Academic Affairs. Academic Affairs is home to four academic colleges – Arts and Communication, Business and Economics, Education and Professional Studies, and Letters and Sciences – as well as the School of Graduate Studies and 17 other offices that are all focused on providing the highest quality learning experience for our students. We are proud of the 50 undergraduate and 15 graduate programs we offer to help students gain the knowledge, skills and experience needed for successful lives and careers. We also offer an Associate of Arts degree and several programs through the Office of Continuing Education to meet the educational needs of a wide variety of students.

Everyone in the Warhawk family is committed to helping each student thrive, find their passion and be successful in reaching their educational goals. While here, students will learn the latest theories, gain cutting edge skills, and engage in hands on learning experiences that relate to real world research, innovation or programs in the community. We offer several online programs as well as many online courses in addition to those taught in a traditional face-to-face learning environment. No matter what the environment, you will receive personalized attention. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 22-1.

Our faculty and staff are also dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and creative activity in their disciplines. In particular, we emphasize engaging students in this activity so we provide many opportunities for students to work side-by-side with faculty members in their research labs, fieldwork, community programs, and creative endeavors. This combination of teaching excellence and disciplinary expertise is a hallmark of faculty life at UW-Whitewater encourage you to explore the links on our website to learn more about the programs we have to offer and to see all of the work that our faculty, staff, students and alumni are doing. On these pages, you will also see the diverse students, faculty and staff that make up the Warhawk community. Our campus embraces the ideals of inclusive excellence in all that we do, from the personal attention you will receive from our outreach counselors and instructors in the classroom to the care we take in hiring our outstanding faculty and staff.
