“People call these things imperfections, but they’re not. aw that’s the good stuff. and then we get to choose who we let in to our weird little worlds” – Robin Williams, Good Will Hunting
I have taken numerous film courses to fulfill my film minor courses, including; visual culture in America, critical writing in multimedia, screenwriting, stage plays on film, cinema auteurs, and film theory. During these courses, I have written an immense amount of essays based on films we have watched in class. Some of my favorite film analysis essays I have written are here:
My screenwriting course was one of my top favorite film courses taken here at the university. I loved getting to learn how to write my own, and how some of the biggest movies in the industry get written to fit the big screen. We worked on a final project throughout the semester, which was to come up with our own thirty page screenplay for a movie we would like to produce. Did you know that 1 page of a screenplay is equivalent to 1 minute of a movie? Thats crazy!
My movie was called Jasia, and it is about a young boy in search of his lost father in an unknown world.
