Conspiracy Theories of the Bachelor/Bachelorette
Each season there are tons and tons of Bachelor/Bachelorette conspiracy theories. People are so curious how real the show is, and there are always certain conspiracy theories that show up each season (ex: the producers messing with the show in some way, etc.) So, I’m going to introduce some popular conspiracy theories that I have ran into within the current and past seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
- Conspiracy Theory #1: Victoria Larson (from Matt’s season- most recent season) is a character/actor that the producers planted.
- I have seen so many tweets about this, so it definitely is one of the most popular conspiracy theories of the Bachelorette. Due to Victoria’s outlandishly crazy personality, everyone believed that she was an actor planted by the production and not actually herself. I definitely wouldn’t doubt that it’s true.
- Conspiracy Theory #2: Demi Burnett & Derek Peth’s relationship and interactions in Bachelor in Paradise were fake.
- I have seen a lot of questions and stories on whether Demi & Derek’s relationship was real, and not faked in order for a better storyline for Bachelor in Paradise. Many people think that their relationship was too short to be real and they basically used it as a way to show off Demi’s bisexuality.
- Conspiracy Theory #3: Arie Luyendyk & Krystal Nielson slept together on Arie’s Bachelor season.
- I have seen SO many tweets and articles about this conspiracy theory, which makes me feel bad for Arie’s now wife- Lauren. There was a lot of speculation about them hooking up, and Krystal called Arie “needle d***” many times throughout the season which could mean this conspiracy theory is true.
- Conspiracy Theory #4: Arie Luyendyk’s breakup with Becca Kufrin was pre-planned.
- Another conspiracy theory involving Arie is that it was planned for Arie to propose, then break up the engagement to Becca in order to get back together with another contestant (his now wife) Lauren. Many think that this just was a way for the production to make his more boring season, a lot more exciting in the end.
- Conspiracy Theory #5: Clare Crawley and Dale Moss knew each other before Claire’s Bachelorrette season started.
- I’m ending with another very popular conspiracy theory. No one necessarily believes Clare Crawley (the most recent past Bachelorette) when she says she didn’t know Dale, her now boyfriend who she left the show for, before her season erred. Many people cannot believe the “love at first sight” she had on day 1, especially because she became insistent on just being with him after that night.
There are so many more conspiracy theories than just these ones, do you have any other conspiracy theories you know of? Or do you believe any of the conspiracy theories that I introduced?
I know that I truly believe a lot of the conspiracy theories; however, there are some that are definitely too crazy to be true. Stay tuned for next week to find out some of my favorite Bachelor and Bachelorette success stories!
