In this sequel to Evermore, Ever is now coming to terms with her immortal powers. But coming to terms with these powers, comes great enemies. While on a date with Damen, Ever realizes the he has just suddenly vanished. The next day, she realizes that Damen won’t even give her the time of day. Also, Ever’s friends have suddenly blown her off. In order to figure out why everyone has blown her off, Ever travels to Summerland, the mystical place where Ever learns about the secrets that Damen is hiding. She must act fast in order to save the boy she loves before his powers fade away and dies.

I also read this book in high school and I loved this story. I recently read this book and finished it in a matter of a few hours. I loved how quick and engaging the story is. The only complaint I have with this book series is that the characters are super angsty. Over all, the story is really enjoyable. I would recommend this series for teens who are into reading, those who were/are fans of Twilight, and those who enjoy romance series.
