When Amy and her mother, Alexis, decide to take a break from their devastating lives, they travel Alexis’s hometown in Scotland. There, Amy’s grandmother demands that they can only stay with her, if Amy reads. Amy soon discovers that she is a book jumper, someone who can literally go inside books. While training to be a book jumper, she realizes that she has powers that no one else has, the secrets her mother has been hiding from her, and how important stories are.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. This book had me screaming and crying and it was everything I ever wanted in a book that touched on the concept of being able to jump inside of a story. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys fantasy, romance, and who always wanted to be able to jump inside of their favorite stories. While this book was great, there were some parts that were a little bit slow for me. Over all it was a quick and easy fun read.
At first, when I came across this book on my Facebook feed, I was obviously pulled in with the idea of jumping into books, along with the cover. I was able to read a few pages online, but then I wasn’t really into it. Then the sequel came out and I bought that book, without realizing that this was the first book. Again, I really enjoyed this book and I encourage you all to be able to put this on your bookshelves.
