Esker is the Dining Hall that is located on East side of campus. It is one of two all you can eat dining locations on campus. They currently serve ll three meals of the day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are open Monday-Friday 7:30-9:30AM, 11:00AM-2:00PM, and 4:00-7:30PM. Then on Saturday and Sunday they are open 9:00-10:30PM, 11:00Am-2:00PM, and 3:00-7:30PM. At semester the dining locations switch their weekend hours which means that for the weekend Esker will be closed and Drumlin, the other dining hall location will be open.
The dining hall is also a location on campus that is peanut and tree nut safe. So if you have any severe allergies relating to that this is a safe place to go! The dining hall always has different food options available at each time everyday of the week so it’s a great idea to utilize the menu they have online.
The dining hall has a four different stations under the “hood” these consist of things like pasta, pizza, and other renter type items. There is also a quesadilla station that is also used for a lot of the specials they have throughout the semester. The dining hall also has a salad bar, where there are fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also a location where you can get cereal and other breakfast items. Lastly, there is a dessert station that normally has things like cookies, cake, rice Krispy treats, etc, and don’t forget about the ice cream freezer!

I enjoyed esker my freshman year but it seems things have taken a toll on most dining due to covid.

I have not yet tried all of the features that are available at Esker. I’m looking forward to the ice cream!

I remember living on that side of campus for a couple of years. I remember when there were waffle irons my freshman year, but they removed them two months in because people abused them. They said they would bring them back but it’s been three years and I don’t think they ever did. 🙁

Due to it being so far from my residence hall, I usually don’t go to Esker except for breakfast on Sunday mornings. This is largely because every other dining option on campus is closed at that time of the week.

Not gonna lie, one of the few things I miss about living in the dorms is being able to eat at Esker whenever I wanted. Steak and Shrimp nights were the best!
