Hello there friend,
I have been thinking a lot lately.. about parking.
You see, this cool weather season has brought about some of my favorite foods of all time. I like to call them comfort foods because they are fattening and therefor comfortable! While I certainly love these foods, they are certainly making it difficult for me to stay in shape! Between these fattening foods and my lack of time (due to my commute), it is extremely difficult for me to commit to making it to the gym every day each week.
This brings me to my thoughts about parking! Here’s what I’ve got:
If I park far away from my classes, I will have to walk more. Even though this is not always very fun, it is definitely good for me. It gives me a chance to get in some kind of cardiovascular activity; especially when I am running late!
This is my plan for the week, and is also a challenge I have for you all: Park as far away as you possibly can (within reason). I’m not talking about anything crazy, but really try to push yourself to walk as much as possible when you get to campus. It will do you a lot of good in the long run, I promise.
