My name is Julia and I am so happy that you have decided to venture into my blog! I am a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater studying Public Relations and Spanish. Since beginning my journey at this university, I have spent a lot of time in the Residence Halls. I lived in a dorm with a roommate my freshman year and I spent my sophomore and junior years working as a Resident Assistant in a similar residence hall. This year, however, I have taken an entirely new route.. I am commuting! I live an hour away and I can safely say that the commute feels soooo much longer. But, I really love it. I have the best of both worlds. Home-cooked meals, social time with friends and time with my family!
While writing posts for this blog, I always have these two goals in mind:
1. To help current commuter students by giving my own tips and tricks as I learn them myself
2. To help non-commuters to understand what it is like to live life away from campus
I hope that this can be a fun and safe place for my readers. I want you to feel comfortable here! That’s the goal.
Enjoy my content and thank you for reading!
