This recipe I’m about to share with you guys is one of my favorites, and probably the one I make the most often. Frozen Fruit Bowls are so easy to make, it’s heckin rediculous. The three main ingredients you will need are: -a blender -coconut or almond milk -frozen fruit (of your choice) The best part about this recipe is it is so versatile, and you can customize it to be whatever you’ve got a craving for! Qdoba Goes Vegan
Exciting things are happening for vegans in the news! Qdoba has begun testing out vegan Impossible Tacos and Bowls in Michigan. The plant-based Impossible “meat” is soy-based and is seasoned with tomatoes, garlic, smoked chilis, paprika, and diced red onion. You can create your own meal featuring the Impossible “meat”, or you can opt for the “Chef’s creation” of the Impossible Bowl or Impossible Taco. Qdoba and Impossible Foods first tested the product at store locations in Michigan. Impossible Foods was quoted saying they chose that particular state for testing because it had the highest amount of Impossible Food sales besides California and New York. Vegan Tacos
Hello everyone! As I mentioned before in my “Morning Star Farms” post, tonight, I used the Morning Star Farms Grillers Crumbles to make these tacos. To star off this recipe, you will need: -Grillers Crumbles package -1/2 tablespoon of olive oil -1/2 cup of water -package of taco seasoning -medium tortillas -salsa (optional) -lettuce (optional) When purchasing tortillas, make sure to read the ingredients. Corn tortillas will always be vegan, but flour tortillas sometimes contain lard, so make sure you check before you buy. I bought my flour tortillas at Festival and they did not contain lard. Morning Star Farms
Recently I was at Walmart, and for once I wasn’t on a mission to get in and out of the store as quick as possible, so I did some browsing in the vegan/vegetarian frozen aisle. While there were a lot of different vegan/vegetarian frozen foods there to try, I felt like these two would be a good place to start. These two packages are from the brand Morning Star Farms. Japanese Style Sesame Green Beans
I was inspired to recreate this recipe after attending UW Whitewater’s International Dinner. This was one of the side dishes for the dinner, and it was SO delicious, I knew I needed to learn how to make this. One of my favorite meals to eat is spaghetti. I had a real craving for this the other night, and figured I would take a crack at adapting one of my favorite meals to be vegan friendly!
