Thanksgiving on Campus

Thanksgiving is coming up quickly. The holiday gives students a taste of home again after a long beginning portion of the semester as well as a much needed break. Some students will choose to catch up with friends and family while others will catch up on major assignments due in the near future or a combination of both.

While many students are making the trek home, many students will be spending the holiday on campus. However, just because you are staying on campus doesn’t mean that you have to forgo the Thanksgiving traditions. The parade and football will still be on. Stores will be crazy for Black Friday. You can even enjoy traditional Thanks giving foods in your dorm room.

The blog UNIGO published some great ways to make many of the holiday favorites right in your dorm room. Many of the dishes including the turkey can be made in a microwave. I thought this was amazing!

You can make everything from turkey, stuffing and much more. If you stay on campus, get some friends or other people together for a home cooked meal in your dorm.

I would defiantly recommend giving these a try.
