Equidox PDF Remediation Training (Live)
Join CATLST and UW-Whitewater’s Equidox rep for a live, hands-on training session on Equidox, a PDF remediation tool used to create accessible documents that meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements. This session will focus on the most common elements encountered when remediating PDF documents and provide practical guidance you can apply immediately.
During this training, participants will learn how to
- Upload PDFs into Equidox
- Correctly order headings and document structure
- Remediate tables
- Create and fix lists and nested lists
- Manage images and add alternative text
- Share PDFs with UW–Whitewater team members
- Understand Equidox admin rights and permissions
The session will conclude with time for questions.
Who Should Attend
This training is open to university instructors and staff who create, edit, or share PDF documents for instructional, administrative, or public-facing use.
How to Attend
This is a live, virtual session. Open the Google Meet link on the day of the event to attend the training session: UWW Equidox Training Session.
What You’ll Need
- Access to Equidox through your university account
- A sample PDF you would like to remediate (optional but recommended)

Follow-up Q&A Session
