Hello and welcome to Broke Mans Philosophy. My name is Shane Tremel, I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in my junior year, majoring in Media Arts and Game Development and minoring in Computer Science.

The main focus of this blog is to share my journey towards financial literacy. I am by no means an expert at the subject, and my opinions should never be taken as advice, however, I plan on sharing any information that I find helpful or interesting. My goal is to use this platform to spread information in an unbiased way because I think there are way to many people on the internet who spread false information so that they can sell you a product. My intent will never be to make a profit off of my opinions and instead create a space for any and all financial opinions.
