Superbowl Recap

Written on February 8, 2016

In case you missed one of the biggest TV events of the year, last night was the Superbowl. The music for the big 50 was amazing, if we do say so ourselves. The event started out with Lady Gaga singing the National Anthem, which was stunning.  Lady Gaga, set aside the pop style and went in for the kill with her classically trained vocals. Then the Halftime show featured Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce. The mixture of bold colors and the bold political statements  in the lyrics, made this one of the most important performances to start around the year. Beyonce’s newly released track “Formation” took a very large part of her performance, and shortly after the show announced her World Tour. The tickets for Formation World Tour go on sale Tuesday (tomorrow!!) so we are rooting for you and want to see pictures if you get tickets! Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” was arguably one of the best dance routines of the show. At the end they came together to finish off the show with an dance-off/sing-off.
