Meet Gunnar and Mox
This week’s “Dog and Cat of the Week” comes from Dane County Humane Society (DCHS). DCHS is an open admission shelter saving all of the healthy and treatable animals who come into their care. This great accomplishment of achieving and maintaining an adoption-guarantee in Dane County was made possible through a multi-year collaboration with Maddie’s Fund® and Dane County Friends of Ferals. The mission statement of DCHS is “Helping People Help Animals.” DCHS works with more than 80 rescues and shelters throughout Wisconsin and the United States.
This week’s dog of the week is…Gunnar!
Gunnar is 6 years old and looking for an active family who is dedicated to positive reinforcement training. He would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard and a home without small children. He has some guarding issues that may arise and can take some time to warm up to others. When you get to know him, he will become the friendliest dog ever!
This week’s cat of the week is…Mox!
Mox is an 11 year old gentleman looking for a calm and quiet home to retire to. He is shy, but affectionate. He is the type of cat who likes to lounge around and will be a good companion for a night in.
If you are interested in adopting this adorable dog or charming cat, look at the Dane County Humane Society for further information.
