Disney+’s hit show is back for a second season.

The Mandalorian has returned for season two on October 30th and has released its first two episodes. If you are a fan of Star Wars, then you already know that this show is well-scripted, stays true to the Star Wars lore, and has attained a larger viewership than the newest movie trilogy. For those of you who are not familiar with or have watched Star Wars, this show can still be watched without knowing the basic knowledge for it can be watched as a stand alone story.

The first season follows a lone bounty hunter who is part of the warrior clan, Mandalorians. Viewers watch as Mando (Pedro Pascal) takes in countless bounties, but is hesitant when it comes to a very secretive and dangerous one – killing ‘The Child” (known by most as Baby Yoda). Ultimately the Mandalorian chooses to bring back the baby in order to learn more about its past, why its dangerous, and why so many people want it dead. Mando then travels the galaxy in order to keep the baby out of harms. Along the way, viewers get to witness several famous celebrities bringing new Star Wars characters to life such as Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Taika Waititi as IG-11, Jon Favreau as Paz Vizla, Bill Burr as Mayfeld, Emily Swallow as Armorer, and so much more. With season two, Mando ventures further into the galaxy to try and return the Child to its former home planet.

Although every show has seasons filled with filler episodes, The Mandalorian’s fillers have yet to disappoint. These include side bounties and missions, fighting creatures, and even betraying a whole group of criminals. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who loves adventures, sci-fi, or just a well-scripted plot with amazing special effects and cgi.
