Purple People Bridge

Over the past summer, my family and I drove down to Cincinnati, Ohio to see the Brewers play against the Reds (photos from that game will be featured in a different post). The next day after the game, we explored the Cincinnati area before driving north and exploring Michigan. If you’re ever in the Cincinnati area, I recommend checking out the Purple People Bridge. This bridge takes you over the Ohio River and across the state line into Newport, Kentucky. The bridge is split into two paths, one for walking and one for biking- no cars are allowed on the bridge. Along the way, there are signs encouraging you to stop and do some sort of exercise such as a yoga pose, or to do a specific exercise as you are moving. There’s also a little section on the bridge where people have attached love locks, which are always fun to see. Below, I will share some photos I took as my family and I crossed the Purple People Bridge, and, of course, the camera settings I was using when I took these photos.
