Last year over winter break I took a week-long trip to the San Diego, California area to visit some relatives of mine that live there. It was a great trip- not only because I don’t get to see those relatives very often, but also because there is so much to do and see in California. Each day of the trip was an adventure to a different part of the area, from Disneyland to the La Jolla tidepools to downtown San Diego. Of course, I took a bunch of photos as I got to explore southern California, including the header photo seen on each page of this blog. This post will be a bit different from the others, as I am only going to share some of my favorite photos (and camera settings used) from this trip and not a list of tips for taking photos like these. My only advice for taking photos when traveling/exploring is to just have your camera ready at all times and keep an eye out for anything interesting happening around you. Speaking of traveling, I just recently booked another trip to San Diego for this summer, and I can’t wait to go back! Here are some of my favorite photos from last year’s trip:
