The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards last night 133-122. Giannis carried them with his third triple-double in a row with 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. The bucks also continue their win streak to four. Bucks made this game interesting by having a 26 point lead in the third quarter slip away to only five points until Giannis scored four straight points to put them up by double digits and seal the game. Giannis quotes, ” I’m not Kobe, I just try to be a basketball player” (ESPN). He understands that it is not just all about him, he tries to do the best for himself but more for the team. Giannis has said in the past that he just wants to win and doesn’t care about MVP or any other awards. Coach Budenholzer says, “”The way he’s playing and creating for others and creating for himself and getting to the free-throw line, he’s in a good place. He’s playing great basketball” (ESPN). Giannis is just the third player to have three triple-doubles in three consecutive games. The two other players who have done this are Russell Westbrook and Jimmy Butler. After these four consecutive wins, the Bucks are only back a half-game from the Nets and two games back from the 76ers. The Bucks looked very well shooting 55% from the field and shooting 40% from beyond the arc. The Bucks have a big game tomorrow night against Joel Embiid and the Philly 76ers. With this win, they will only be one game back from the 76ers for the number one spot in the Eastern Conference.

Great post here! I haven’t been following the Bucks as closely this year but they are rolling. They are a team that is not to be messed with in the east. I’m just a little concerned about when they get to the playoffs though. The Nets are the Nets and it will be their ship to lose. The 76ers look good too, yet they always seem to be injury prone. I’m just hoping the Bucks can stay healthy and get a good seeding in the playoffs. Then they can meet the Nets in the conference championship and pull off the upset to go the the finals!

Bucks are on an absolute tear right now. Giannis just got his third straight triple double and has been going quite unnoticed by the media (As he always does for some reason). He is putting up crazy numbers and the league has virtually not noticed this. I hope he can get the job done yet again against Philly tonight as he is someone who can get you a triple double every night. Great road wins against Washington.

Can’t believe the Bucks Wizards game was that close considering that the Wizards aren’t a good team at all. Giannis dominated this game like what he usual does. Its good to hear that Giannis knows its not all about him when the Bucks play. Overall, if the Bucks keep this up they can get the one seed but they’ll have to beat the three headed horse in the Nets.
