I’m Carina Lopez. I’m a senior majoring in journalism and minoring in political science. I am a first-generation student with lots of hopes and dreams. One day I will be a digital media producer writing for a national newspaper.
So far I have interned for the Northwest Herald, NBC Chicago & Telemundo Chicago’s digital media team, and I’ve worked as an Editor for the Royal Purple since I transferred over to UW-Whitewater.
