Jester’s Festival, Q1 Berries Last Call

Its the Jester’s Festival …almost! As stated in one of my previous posts the Jester’s Festival is coming again this year, Thursday, March 21st. The full event run time is from Thursday, March 21, at 10:00AM EDT until Tuesday, April 2, at 10:00AM EDT. I stated a couple of things to expect the last time I talked about this, but as of today, we got a full confirmation on what to expect this upcoming festival. Lets start with the main rewards for participating in the festival, the Jester’s Festival Stupendous Box. The first time you complete the daily quest for each Jester, each day, in each faction territory, you will receive a “Stupendous Box” instead of a normal rewards box. This means you can get 3 Stupendous Boxes per day. The Stupendous Box holds much rarer, and much higher value rewards, compared to the normal boxes. Here is what you can receive from a Stupendous Box drop.

  • Cadwell’s Kitchen Arms Style Pages
    • Arm yourself with the weapons of the rag-tag knight himself!
  • Parts of New Mementos!
    • Collect the different parts for two new Mementos: the Festive Noise Maker or Jester’s Festival Joke Popper.
  • Jokey Stealies
    • Valuable-but-silly items you can sell to vendors for gold.
  • Runeboxes
    • Tradeable runeboxes containing last year’s Mementos: the Jester’s Scintillator and Cherry Blossom Branch.

Now lets talk the secondary rewards for participating in the festivities, Event Tickets. “As you take part in the Jester’s Festival, you’ll earn two Event Tickets the first time you complete a Jester’s daily quest each day, with a total of 24 tickets available to be earned by the event’s end.” I’ve stated in previous posts that these tickets are extremely useful when it comes to getting cool loot and swag in game cosmetics, but not we are coming to the end of quarter 1 for potential loot. All four Dawnwood type berries will be available during this event, but only until the end of the event! That’s right this is your last time window to get the berries before they disappear until next, quarter 1, next year. Being able to get 24 tickets means you can get up to two berries without having to pay anything. ESO will have an event ticket sale near the end of the Jester’s Festival where you can purchase tickets using real world currency. As prices for these tickets are not yet known, don’t hold your breath that these tickets will be cheap. If you don’t want to spend real money, get your berries now!

There are a boat load of other rewards and cool surprises that I haven’t even touched yet. But as most wise teachers say, “Check the facts yourself, do the research, then form your own opinion.” If you want to dive further into the rabbit hole, and see what other goods you could be scoring, check out the official ESO information post below. I wish you all a happy Spring Break and a happy Jester’s Festival!
