“Jets Announce Split With Aaron Rodgers, Wish Him Success”, by ESPN. This was made on February 13th, 2025. This is currently a big story in the National Football League (NFL). The New York Jets did not cite reasoning on this decision, but the only things that Jets General Manager Darren Mougey and Jets Head Coach Aaron Glenn told Rodgers in a meetup with him, was that their intention was to move in a different direction at Quarterback. This story is related to me and others especially in the state of Wisconsin because we also went through losing Aaron Rodgers as Packers fans. And this story is one of the major stories worldwide in the Sports World right now. The angle I would take locally on this story was that what did you first think of when the Packers traded Aaron Rodgers and how did it turn out now and ask them if they think the Jets are making a good or bad decision. I interviewed 3 people who are Packers fans with high football knowledge to see what they think!

The first person I interviewed was a Sophomore, Football player at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, as well as a Packers fan, Justin Krol, said “He (Aaron Rodgers) was getting mentally draining on the franchise (Green Bay Packers), and now the jets are realizing the extent of how he is as a person.

The second person I interviewed was Lukas Jones, a Junior at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He said “I think it was time to move on from Rodgers. I think sitting Love for a few years has given him some good experience before taking over for Aaron. I think the Jets are making the right move in moving on from him at QB because he is a bit older and less elusive which doesn’t bode well for the Jets who have a bad offensive line. They need to get younger at QB.

The last person I interviewed was Cayden Krutina, a Sophomore at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. His claims are “I was definitely bummed that the Packers traded Rodgers because he was the Qb I grew up watching. I did figure it was a long time coming though, with all of his communication issues with Mike McCarthy, Matt Lefluer, and the organization as a whole. As for the Jets, I definitely understand moving away from Rodgers, He really hasn’t looked the same since he left Green Bay and I think they’re (Jets) investing a lot of time and money trying to rebuild this organization around a 40 year old diva who is like six seasons out of his prime”.

You really get to see different opinions, and how they have changed overtime about this considering that we Packers fans have gone through the same thing after so many years of watching Aaron Rodgers. Thanks for reading.

So someone who hears the word “journalist”, they typically think of someone who writes a lot, does a lot of reporting, hits all sorts of fields. But the way to get information out to people has changed jurastically. And it has been only increasing ways of getting information out there. Especially with A.I. The 24/7 news cycle was a way to get information out there faster than ever. It gave us a fresh start on how reports can be delivered and delivered faster than before or like anything we have ever seen before. Especially with the use of social media and technology as a whole, it was very important to get information out there quickly and effeciently. With convergence, that is when we put everything in the journalism world together, and come out with a thing called “multimedia” storytelling or reports. This led multiple ways to getting information out there of any story and or report. Wether that was through social media, the web, texts, calls, audio, video, putting that all together will create multimedia storytelling. Then we move on to modular content. The point of modular content is to break everything down about a story. Or whatever they need to do to get your attention. Such as a article with different headlines and a text beneath it explaining that headline. Give you a run down of the article. Sometimes being in the mind of a journalist, can be very confusing. But there is so many ways out there to even be a journalist for even 10 minutes.
