This post is designed to show how far Dodge fans go with the customization of their cars. This second round will be dedicated to the Charger line with the next round being Durango models. I’ve seen a lot of cars and it is easy to say that Dodge fans are the very best at turning stock vehicles into works of art that no other brand even comes close to.
This first build shows off a lowered and slightly stanced Charger in red orange with black secondary. Like in the last build collection showing challengers, seeing one of these cars lowered is an uncommon sight but can still pull it off. Specifically with this one I think the lowering makes the car look longer. Some smaller aspects to point out is first the great intricate custom rims. And the tail-light section being black to accentuate the taillight rather than being the same color as the rest of the car. You can also see decals in the rear windows promoting the driver’s socials (Instagram soda_6.2)
I included this build to show a more whole camo wrap contrasting the limited camo from the Challenger last week. The wrap incorporates both mate and reflective paint but remain dark, not contrasting each other too much which gives a dynamic character that isn’t visually too much. An important thing to note about almost all of these builds is that they are wide bodies. Meaning they have those side fender flairs around the wheel. It looks like a small addition, but it makes a big impact on the visual side flow of the car for the better.
This Charger shows off the extremes of light customization some take their builds to. Outside, all 4 sides having under glow. Headlights and interior accent lighting. And something I don’t usually see but scoop (hood air intake) lights. It also has gorilla decals on the rear doors as is the character applied to this Charger. These cars once customized enough take on their own personality and almost become a person. Thier owners dedicate social media pages just to pictures of their car, like a model would. This other Charger shows that this owner changed the light signature (shape of taillight). Compared to the previous Chargers you can see these lights are more minimalistic and sharper. Usually, the entire outline of the taillight is illuminated.
This charger shows something I’ve never seen on a Dodge but goes to show that there is no limit to what Dodge fans will do. This owner put winglet doors on their Charger which of course is something you really only see on high end super cars. The black primary with red accents and branding really matches the loudness that comes along with the specialty doors. (Instagram: goreala_society)
Lastly, my favorite build I came across while finding Chargers for this post. An all-over purple space wrap with yellow accents. The black rims, windows and stripe on the front really bring out the wrap as well. Under glow and head light color really helps sell the space theme applied to this Charger.
