Becoming an ambassador for the most powerfull car brand

At the end of last year, Dodge announced it would be creating a one-person position within their company responsible for being a formal brand ambassador. This position is called “Chief Donut Maker”. As I mentioned in a previous post, Dodge is the best when it comes to naming things within their brand such as trim levels (Hellcat & Jailbroken) and paintjobs (White Knuckle & Go Mango).

This position would be responsible for representing Dodge across the country; attending car shows (such as the Detroit Auto Show) of all sizes as well as posting very frequently to social media to get the word out. The Chief Donut Maker will also have to be able to adapt to things that pop up over the course of the year-long contract.

Dodge would also of course let the Chief choose between a Hellcat Challenger or Charger to get around in. Branded as the best company car ever. They will also attend Radford Racing school to learn how to handle the power of their new company car. Along with this, Dodge will take the Chief behind the scenes to see how the horsepower is made for Dodge engines and be a weekend honorary member of the Dodge drag racing pit crew. The best for last, the Chief will get a salary of $150,000.

This position was open to anyone that applied. Their application just had to explain who they are and what their hero origin story is along with how they exemplify Dodge’s “25/8” spirit and how they will use their creativity to push the brand forward.

The application process closed on February 28th and now the applications are under review. A finalist event will take place early next month and a winner will be determined late April to Early May just in time for summer car shows.

As a fan I can’t wait to see who Dodge chooses and furthermore what this ambassador does with this opportunity of a lifetime.
