What does online journalism do better than traditional journalism?

We discussed online journalism as having a plethora of options. Online journalism allows for writers to be more creative given the tools and resources available to them. It allows for multiple mediums of content, not just writing. Journalists can include video, audio, and many different and engaging tools to hook and captivate readers. Furthermore, online journalism is even more favorable for users. Because the content is online, it becomes global and accessible for anybody anywhere with internet. News can be reported instantaneously and allows for collaboration with others. Overall, online journalism is much more convenient than traditional journalism and has a lot more options and tools compared to the traditional was of reporting news.
