Community Workshop: Dealing with Anxiety During These Stressful Times

We are living through a pandemic, with uncertainty about how workplaces and schools will cope with the ongoing presence of COVID-19. As a society, in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd, we are becoming more aware of the impact of systemic racism. All of these contribute to our heightened anxiety and stress levels. This presentation will share information and a range of approaches and tools for dealing with stress and anxiety. There will be opportunities for discussion and resources will be shared.

Dr. Jim Winship is Emeritus Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He currently consults and trains with human service organizations, including providing workshops and webinars on dealing with stress and anxiety.
