Volunteering has always been a passion of mine. Not only do I get to meet interesting people, but I get to help and make a difference in many capacities. Here are some of the opportunities I have gotten to participate in.
CHWC – Catholic Heart Work Camp
I have volunteered every summer for the past 9 years at CHWC. I’ve worked on projects that ranged from building a deck, landscaping, food pantries, painting and more.
A cappella Community Shows
Being a member of different choirs and bands, I have learned the importance of team work, all working together toward the best possible performance. All involved bring their own talents and ideas to the group but need each other to succeed. I have learned how to be a team player, one who supports, challenges and encourages people.
