Today is National Cookie Day and also the last day of my blog! To celebrate, I decided to make a chocolate chip cookie cake! I didn’t have a specific recipe to go off of to make this dessert, so I used my usual chocolate chip cookie recipe and hoped that it would make the right amount for a cookie cake. Turns out, it’s a nearly perfect amount for the pan I used! This recipe reminds me of the store-bought cookie cakes I had as a kid, but I think it’s even better than the ones I’ve had before since it’s homemade.

Holiday-Ready Cheesecake Recipe
Hey guys! Yesterday was Thanksgiving as well as National Homemade Cake Day. I was planning on making a dessert for my family for Thanksgiving this year, so I decided to go the cake route (sort of) and make a cheesecake! Pumpkin and apple pies are classics that I usually make for Thanksgiving, but this year I wanted to try something different. This recipe is one of the easiest cheesecake recipes I’ve ever found, and it cooks way faster than most others!
Continue readingLight and Moist Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe
This past Tuesday, November 17th, was National Homemade Bread Day. To celebrate, I baked my boyfriend’s mom’s recipe for banana chocolate chip bread. I considered baking a loaf of regular bread this week, but since I’ve done dessert recipes every other week I thought this week should be a sweet treat too. You can make loaves of bread or muffins from this recipe, but I chose to do loaves this time. Disclaimer: to make this bread, an arm workout will be required, so make sure you don’t plan to bake this bread on arm day. 😉
Continue readingEasy-to-Make Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies Recipe
This week’s dessert was chosen by my boyfriend. These cookies are his favorite version of chocolate chip cookies, and I’m a big fan of them too. We found this recipe a couple years ago in a YouTube video and we liked them so much that we saved the recipe (with a bit of an edit) and have made the cookies quite a lot. These cookies are incredibly easy to make (they only use 4 ingredients) and are a fun variation of classic chocolate chip cookies. 🙂

For this week’s bake, I decided to do a holiday favorite at my house (not for any upcoming holiday, I just really wanted these cookies). I baked my grandma’s molasses cookies recipe. I hadn’t made these cookies since I was really young, so it was fun to make them again. One small issue I forgot about was that the dough for these cookies was supposed to be chilled overnight, and I didn’t start making the dough until late last night. So, I baked the cookies today. 🙂
Continue readingParty-Ready Pumpkin Patch Brownies Recipe
This week, I wanted to make something related to Halloween. Last year, I saw brownies like this at a Halloween party and thought they were adorable, this Monday (October 26) was National Pumpkin Day, and I went to a pumpkin patch this week. All three of these things inspired me to make these pumpkin patch brownies! They are delicious, super chocolatey, and a great treat to take to a (safe and socially-distanced) Halloween party this year!
Continue readingCrisp and Juicy Dutch Apple Pie Recipe
This past Wednesday, October 21st, was National Apple Day. To celebrate, I baked my grandma’s recipe for a Dutch apple pie today! This recipe is sweet, reminds me of fall, and it’s honestly really easy to make (as far as pies go).
Continue readingFour-Layer Pumpkin Torte Recipe
Attention all pumpkin lovers: you will definitely want to try out this delicious, layered torte recipe for yourselves! I am a big fan of pumpkin pie (I wish it was easy to get year-round!) and I think this recipe is a refreshing take on the classic taste of pumpkin pie. This pumpkin torte is fluffy, creamy, sweet, and it’s a perfect dessert for fall!
To the left, you can see a slice of the finished torte. You should be able to see four distinct layers with this dessert, but don’t be upset if the layers run together a little, it will still taste good 😉

This week I made my grandma’s recipe for cinnamon rolls to celebrate National Cinnamon Roll Day (which was on Sunday, October 4). I enjoy Pillsbury canned cinnamon rolls a lot, but I decided to go with homemade cinnamon rolls this week to celebrate the holiday. I think this recipe is pretty simple and makes a lot of really delicious cinnamon rolls!
To the left, you can see how my cinnamon rolls turned out after I frosted them with a cream cheese frosting. If you aren’t a huge cream cheese fan, you can use whatever type of icing you like to top these delicious cinnamon rolls. 🙂

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share a recipe for chocolate drop cookies (pictured below) that has been passed down in my family for four generations. I used to love it when my grandma made these cookies for me, and I am happy I can make them myself now! This past Thursday (October 1st) was National Homemade Cookies Day, which inspired me to make this recipe this week.
