Hi All,

We have run into problems with cords. So that we can learn the names of what we are using, does anyone have a helpful resource on the types of cords we were sent and the names of their end pieces. For example the blue cord that appears to be micro to USB that transfers data to the Nano Every...what is this cord called if it moves power but not data?  And what is the cord called if it moves power and data? What is the difference between micro and micro B? Is the other cord supplied a mini?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Liz,

Here's one source for the crazy number and types of USB cables: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware . The cable you need for the Nano Every is a Micro-B cable (on one end and a "regular" USB A connection on the other end). I believe that we only send one of these in the Aerospace Jam kit that will connect to the portable battery and also to your computer (for programming the Nano Every). The cable we provided does have the correct data wires to both power the Nano Every and communicate with it. A small minority of cables (that may come with a USB battery) have only the power wires and leave out the data wires. We did not ship one of these to you.

So, the cable we provided should work to both power and program your Nano Every. If you're having trouble getting it to work, contact Mike or I and we'll set up a web meeting.

Eric
