What’s Next at DHS?
The hope is that CCS programs across Wisconsin will adopt positive development practices to serve and support young people with serious mental health and substance use conditions.
One way to help service providers take the next step is sharing what young people have found helpful and unhelpful about the mental health and substance use services available in Wisconsin. This information was collected as part of the development of the YES! model.
Watch for information on opportunities to engage with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and other service providers on how to implement the YES! model. These opportunities may include statewide learning collaboratives and program-specific technical assistance.
Reach out to DHS today if you would like help:
- Getting acquainted with issues by exploring content available in the website Resource Center
- Learning more about implementing these practices
- Engaging with your Administration and Coordination Committee about services to youth and young adults
- Consider joining a time-limited, topic-specific learning community
If you have a story about how you successfully implemented the YES! model, send it to DHS
