{"id":753,"date":"2015-04-03T09:26:05","date_gmt":"2015-04-03T14:26:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/?p=753"},"modified":"2015-04-17T09:27:33","modified_gmt":"2015-04-17T14:27:33","slug":"album-of-the-week-4315","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/2015\/04\/03\/album-of-the-week-4315\/","title":{"rendered":"Album of the Week 4\/3\/15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/deathcabforcutie.com\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\">Death Cab For Cutie<\/a> recently released another great album,\u00a0<em>Kintsugi. \u00a0<\/em>The album is full of emotions the lyrics reflect on the end of the marriage between Ben Gibbard and Zoey Deschanel and the tracks are full of the turmoil and the heartbreak. \u00a0The band also sees it as a reflection of coming to age. \u00a0The album title comes from a Japanese art where artists fix fragmented ceramics with precious metals, such as gold, to make the value of the piece greater than it was previously. \u00a0This is symbolic of a heartbreak and over coming that time in ones life.
