{"id":369,"date":"2014-04-25T12:22:54","date_gmt":"2014-04-25T17:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/?p=369"},"modified":"2014-04-25T14:14:01","modified_gmt":"2014-04-25T19:14:01","slug":"the-brothers-quinn-at-fund-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/2014\/04\/25\/the-brothers-quinn-at-fund-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"The Brothers Quinn at Fund Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/files\/2014\/04\/IMG_3214.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-370 alignleft\" alt=\"The Bass Player of The Brothers Quinn Wednesday night at the College Pub for 2014 Fund Drive\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/files\/2014\/04\/IMG_3214-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/files\/2014\/04\/IMG_3214-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.uww.edu\/wsuw\/files\/2014\/04\/IMG_3214-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the upright bass player, Peyton Lencho, of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/brothersquinn\" target=\"_blank\">The Brothers Quinn<\/a>. \u00a0 The four piece folk band from Southeast Wisconsin played Wednesday night at the College Pub to a full house. \u00a0The energy the band had kept the crowd excited and engaged. \u00a0The band played many of the crowd&#8217;s favorites and they sang along. \u00a0They played covers of anything from Old Crow Medicine Show to Mumford &amp; Sons to\u00a0It has been the most popular night so far for the station&#8217;s five night Fund Drive event. \u00a0At points in the night people from the crowd came on stage to sing and dance with the band. \u00a0The Brothers Quinn got the crowd to come from the bar to dance and sing along. \u00a0The Brothers Quinn&#8217;s guitar and harmonic player, Brian Lucas, also happens to be The Edge&#8217;s General Manager which was an extra selling point for many of the spectators. \u00a0The band considers themselves to be a folk band that plays much more than that. \u00a0Overall they were a great crowd hit that created a vibe that worth seeing again!<\/p>\n<p>91.7 The Edge would like to thank The Brothers Quinn for coming out and bringing there energy to the Fund Drive event. We are looking forward to hearing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kaneplacerecordclub\" target=\"_blank\">The Kane Place Record Club<\/a>\u00a0tonight at 10 PM at the College Pub! It is a free event with a raffle and T-Shirts for sale. \u00a0The T-Shirts are $5 with 1 raffle ticket and $2 Cherry Bomb deal!
