Album of the Week 3-20-15

Well we aren’t being Modest this week about who got the top pick! Modest Mouse‘s new album “Strangers to Ourselves,” is sure something to be listening to! It will officially be dropping for adds next week but that doesn’t mean you can’t hunt it down the singles in the mean time! This is the first album in 8 looooong years from the band, and it was sure worth the wait. The album is a sure solid LP from the band and Isaac Brock’s vocals mesh in just the right way with the instrumentals. The band has confirmed that they are working on a second album from the already recorded sessions, so keep on the look out for that. Unfortunately, most of their tour dates are out of country or not too close to here :/
