I am an associate professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater (Whitewater, WI). \u00a0My primary research interests are in topological combinatorics, a sub-field of mathematics devoted to using creative counting techniques to study the properties of abstract space. My primary university service involves curriculum development\/management and transfer credit evaluation.<\/p>\n
I graduated with my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY) in May 2017. \u00a0My research advisor was Dr. Benjamin Braun, and my dissertation was titled “On Independence, Matching, and Homomorphism Complexes.” \u00a0I also earned my M.A. in mathematics from U. Kentucky in August 2014 under the guidance of Dr. Bertrand Guillou. \u00a0I earned my B.A. with a double major in mathematics and economics from Hanover College (Hanover, IN) in May 2012.<\/p>\n
