What better way to replenish thirst than a tasty smoothie? Just take it from Kailey in an article called <em>Diet. <\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;Smoothies are an easy and delicious way to lose weight and get our body the nutrients it needs&#8221;  <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Now don&#8217;t go running off THAT quick to grab your smoothies, as there are many that are going to do more harm than good. Here are going to be a few tips to making delicious, healthy smoothies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>FORGET THE JUICE!<\/strong> Instead, use healthy liquids including milk, almond milk, coconut milk, coconut water, maple water, or aloe.  <\/li><li><strong>GO GREEN! <\/strong>While fruit smoothies are great, fruit does contain lots of sugar.  Mixing veggies in with fruit will lessens the caloric consumption. Adding veggies increases fiber which is great for the digestive system. Veggie options: kale, spinach, cucumber, carrots, beets.<\/li><li><strong>PROTEIN POWER!<\/strong> While fruits and veggies will give us many of our nutrients, this smoothie still lacks protein.  Add protein powder, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, almond butter, or peanut butter to make a super smoothie!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Now that you have these helpful ideas running fresh through your mind, safely travel to your local grocery store to get these essentials!
