It really tackles head-on the theme of the journey being more important than the destination, and I was happy to see all the colorful characters hiking up for their own reason. This fictional national park is brimming with life and possibility.

The circular structure of the island itself allows infinite access points to the destination, while also allowing Claire to circle back, so it doesn’t feel like a chore to go back to the starting area. I noticed several times playing that when I picked one route, I always ended up circling back to where I branched off, allowing me to naturally explore the other path. This reminded me a lot of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, where when you sit on the benches, you can see the area you’ve been to or the area you’re going to. It’s a beautiful motif that was executed wonderfully in this game with the circular structure of the mountain (hill??) itself.

My only gripe with the game was the camera control. The camera control made it difficult to navigate at times, and I think it would have been better if I had 360 rotation so I could always be positioned behind Claire for easier flight.

Other than that, again, this was a beautiful experience and it was recommended to me by another friend. Thank you for making this game.

This game had a beautiful story, and when people ask if games can be art, can be examined as serious as literature, this game proves the answer to be yes.
